What’s this!? I thought it looked like a sea creature at first. So this guinomi is named a sea creature guinomi. Hahaha. Guinomi means a large cup to drink Japanese rice wine, sake. I painted a mixture on the surface of the guinomi before firing. I made this mixture with red clay and water and sands. The sands described black dots on the surface after firing. It’s unique and impressive. But the edge of the guinomi is little bit jaggy to drink something. Please enjoy sake by using this guinomi.

購入の際の注意点
Please be careful. It’s fragile. And I can’t recommend to use microwaves for it. According to some experts, it might become more fragile if you use microwaves for it. And please avoid to put it into dishwashers. Also the colors might be different little bit between real one and pictures. And I recommend to dip whole one into clean water for one day before using it. Because it’s easy to stain the cup if you don’t do that. Thank you in advance.
