The whole fabric is woven in all-over kasuri, and the patterned part is woven in katasu-style kasuri, which gives the fabric a luster and bounce. The dress has a round neckline, dolman sleeves, and short sleeves. The garment is gathered at the waist and has thin ribbons attached to the sides a little above the waist, so it can be sized by tying it at the top or bottom. It can be worn alone in summer or with an inner layer for all seasons. A snood is also made by combining the same Oshima silk and another Oshima silk. The two different patterns on the front and back sides of the snood can be tied together in various ways to create an elegant design. The snood can be worn long as it is, or with a thin ribbon attached for a simple knot, so please tie it at your favorite position. It can be used as a protection against ultraviolet rays or against indoor air conditioning. When it gets cold, you can use it as a double wrap to keep you warm.
