Three adorable chirimen (crepe fabric) koinobori swim gracefully alongside colorful fukinagashi (streamers) dancing in the wind, expressed with mizuhiki (decorative paper cord). Accenting the cream-colored background are vibrant kinran (gold brocade) fabrics in three colors and iris flowers. We selected kinran fabrics that match the image of each koinobori. While featuring traditional Japanese motifs, the soft-toned wood-grain frame complements both Japanese and Western-style rooms.
